Methyl Salicylate

Methyl salicylate (oil of wintergreen or wintergreen oil) is an organic ester naturally produced by many species of plants, particularly wintergreens. Methyl salicylate is an external analgesic that temporarily relieve minor body aches and muscle and joint pain associated with backache, arthritis, strains, sprains, and bruises.

Storage: This product can be stored in its original unopened containers at below 40°C for at least two years. It should not be stored at temperatures below 15°C or crystallization may occur. Upon storage, some sedimentation can occur which has no negative effects on the quality. It is recommended to homogenize the product by stirring before use.
